CUSTOM WEDDING & SPECIAL OCCASSION
The custom couture gown process begins after a personal consultation with one of our designers, and is usually fulfilled in 3 steps.
During the initial consultation we will go over your vision. We will look at ideas, photos, magazines, sketches, and fabric types you have put together. The designer can also provide swatches and samples from our selection of fabrics and notions for your choosing. We will then discuss the time lines and pricing once we have gathered enough information on your design and materials.
After we take measurements and the initial consultation is complete, we can begin the custom production process. We do this by creating a muslin pattern and your sample fitting gown. This sample is made to ensure that we have captured your dream and that you will have the perfect fit. A fitting at this step will be completed w/ you and the designer.
Once the sample dress has been approved by you, we will begin the construction of your custom couture gown, using all the fabrics, materials and accessories you have chosen. During this final process additional fittings may be needed to ensure you go home with the couture gown of your dreams.

At Somsi Couture, we handcraft all our accessories in our Houston design studio.
We seek to design these precious pieces with care as they will be treasured and worn in the most beautiful way.
We offer a range of couture bridal accessories; custom veils, one of a kind headpieces, hair adornments, rhinestone belts and sashes.

ALTERATIONS
At Somsi Couture we have a team of highly experienced alteration specialists who specialize in high end alterations and restyling of couture wedding gowns, and vintage dresses.
Our customer's will be able to work alongside our alterationspecialist to achieve the desired fit.
Although we have more than 15 years of experience in the couture garment industry, we offer a casual and stress free environment. Please call us for a complementary consultation.
